Mark Tsakmakis has been with Link Financial Services as a Financial adviser for 13 years and has worked in the financial planning industry since 2003. He holds a Bachelor of Business Degree and an Advanced Diploma in Financial Services.

Mark developed a keen interest in investments at an early age. Today, he puts his passion, resourcefulness, and research to work for his clients, and values being able to mentor and educate them along their journey. Mark provides strategic wealth advice including superannuation strategies, investment management and strategic advice.

Mark values the authentic connections he makes with his clients enabling him to better help them in the long run. Trust and confidence are key to his relationships and many of his clients have been with him for decades. When working with clients, Mark offers space for them to communicate about their unique situation, what makes them tick, and their long-term goals and objectives. Through research, he prioritises and recommends solutions designed specifically for them. He also works closely with accountants and other third-party experts to develop comprehensive strategies tailored to the individual client. His passion to go the extra step to support his clients is what sets him apart from other advisers.

Mark also co-chairs and is a valuable member the investment committee, working with external advisers to ensure the philosophy and charter that was put in place when the firm was established, and that underpins its success, is still being followed. He wants his clients to be as confident in their investment choices as he is. While this dual role may not be typical within firms, Mark describes it as non-negotiable. “For us, the reality is that we live and breathe what we recommend to our clients.”
